About the Role 

We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Cloud Engineering IT team. 

The Cloud Engineering team is focused on supporting Ministry Brands through the delivery of innovative cloud hosting, primarily leveraging services from Azure and AWS. In support of this focus, the Cloud Solutions Architect is heavily engaged in the design, building, and implementation of technology solutions in a very collaborative environment.  

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Product, and Infrastructure—to deliver innovative, cloud-native architectures that power our global SaaS ecosystem. 

This is an exciting opportunity to shape enterprise-grade cloud environments in a collaborative and fast-paced setting, with a focus on continuous improvement, automation, and technical excellence. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Collaborate with software development and infrastructure teams to design, test, and implement secure, scalable cloud-hosted solutions. 

  • Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, design patterns, and operational best practices. 

  • Lead modernization efforts such as data center consolidations, containerization (Kubernetes), automation of CI/CD pipelines, and event driven architectures. 

  • Provide hands-on expertise with Azure and AWS (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) environments. 

  • Implement robust data migration and security controls, ensuring compliance with PCI DSS and industry regulations. 

  • Partner with development teams to enable continuous delivery and seamless integration across systems. 

  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and propose sustainable technical solutions. 

  • Mentor junior engineers and drive adoption of emerging cloud technologies. 

  • Participate in architectural reviews, documentation, and roadmap planning. 

What You Bring 

  • MS or BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience  

  • 12+ years of progressive IT experience  

  • 7+ years’ experience managing both AWS and Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) services and solutions, GCP experience a plus  

  • 1+ year of experience designing and supporting AI based infrastructure in a multi cloud infrastructure  

  • Strong scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Bash)  

  • Good organizational, task, and project management skills  

  • Self-motivated and able to work across diverse technical and non-technical teams  

  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with experience communicating key concepts at an executive level  

  • Advanced understanding of infrastructure technologies – Server (MS Windows, Linux), data store (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), network, storage, security, and management technologies  

  • Advanced experience with IT transformation - data center consolidations, platform migrations, containerization (w/ Kubernetes), data stream integration (Kafka) 

  • ITIL (foundational level, but exposure to more detail than foundation is often necessary)  

  • Experience working in and securing environments meeting PCI DSS 3.x, PCI DSS 4.x experience highly desired
