Job Description -

Reporting & Insights Specialist (Contract-to-Cash, EMEA)

Role Summary

The Reporting & Insights Specialist is responsible for designing, producing, and continuously improving reporting capabilities across the Contract-to-Cash (CTC) function in the EMEA region (13 markets).

The role focuses on transforming fragmented and largely manual reporting into structured, reliable, and insight-driven outputs that support operational decision-making, performance management, and transformation initiatives.

This position goes beyond reporting production and requires strong analytical capabilities to interpret data, identify trends and risks, and provide actionable business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reporting Production & Standardization

  • Generate recurring and ad hoc CTC reports (e.g., collections, DSO, disputes, cash application, invoicing performance)
  • Consolidate data across multiple ERPs, tools, and markets
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reporting outputs
  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting templates and dashboards across all EMEA markets
  • Reduce dependency on manual reporting through structured data models and automation opportunities

2. Data Analysis & Business Insights

  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify: Trends and performance gaps; Root causes of underperformance; Operational inefficiencies
  • Highlight key risks (e.g., backlog build-up, dispute aging, data quality issues)
  • Translate complex data into clear, executive-level insights
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve performance and outcomes

3. Performance Management Support

  • Support monthly and weekly performance reviews (e.g., MORs, governance calls)
  • Provide commentary and storytelling behind key metrics
  • Enable tracking of key initiatives impacting: Cash collections DSO reduction Dispute resolution
  • Partner with operations leads to define and track improvement actions

4. Reporting Transformation & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to: Eliminate manual reporting
  • Streamline data extraction and consolidation
  • Improve visualization and usability
  • Support implementation of reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, automation solutions)
  • Contribute to building a single source of truth for CTC reporting

5. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key interface between: Operations teams (country / process leads)Transformation / digital teams and Senior leadership
  • Gather reporting requirements from different markets and harmonize into standardized outputs
  • Ensure alignment on definitions, KPIs, and reporting logic

Key Deliverables

  • Standardized EMEA CTC reporting suite
  • Executive-ready dashboards and performance packs
  • Insight summaries highlighting: Risks; Opportunities; Recommended actions
  • Data validation and reporting governance framework

Required Skills & Experience

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Strong data analysis capabilities (Excel advanced, Power BI or similar)
  • Experience working with large, fragmented datasets
  • Ability to build structured reporting models from unstructured inputs
  • Understanding of data validation and reconciliation principles

CTC / Finance Expertise

  • Solid understanding of Contract-to-Cash processes: Collections, Cash application, Dispute management, Billing
  • Familiarity with KPIs such as DSO, CEI, dispute aging, past due

Business & Communication Skills

  • Strong ability to translate data into business insights (“so what” mindset)
  • Experience preparing executive-level summaries and presentations
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with data-driven recommendations

Soft Skills

  • Structured and detail-oriented
  • Proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong stakeholder management across multiple countries and cultures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, transformation environment
