This individual will report to the Manager of Finance.Here you can:Support all financial aspects of Programming Finance, including the P&L and balance sheet, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, pacing, variance analysis, and monthly closePartner with the Programming Acquisitions team to track current and upcoming deals and ensure financial pacing reflects the latest termsCollaborate with Strategy, Research, and Acquisitions to evaluate new content through the financial greenlight processPresent content financial summaries and budget insights to the Acquisitions and Strategy teamsSupport the Controllership team with monthly close activities by ensuring data accuracy and resolving discrepancies with operatorsManage acquisitions cash flow, provide payment schedules as deals close, and partner with AP coordinators on outgoing paymentsAnalyze the acquisitions budget and content performance to drive efficiencies and profitabilityIdentify and implement opportunities to improve automation, standardization, and simplification across processesQualificationsWhat you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field2+ years of experience in finance and/or accountingAdvanced Excel skills, including experience with complex models and formulasWhat sets you apart: Solid interest in the media industry; prior experience is a plusProven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented critical thinker with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ownership, initiative, and self-motivation, with the ability to work independentlyThrives in a cross-functional environment and collaborates effectively to achieve shared goalsHybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
