Job SummaryThe Purchasing Supervisor COE is responsible for leading operational buyer processes and teams located in Pune, Budapest, and Santo Domingo, focusing on material supply planning, management, and optimization. This position plays a key role within the Materials Function of the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (CoE), reporting directly to the CoE Procurement ManagerJob Responsibilities1. Lead and support buyer teams to ensure efficient and timely procurement operations.2. Drive continuous improvement in procurement KPIs and operational performance. (PO Complaince/ SOTD, Invoice Managment,Master Data Maintenece amoing others)3. Act as the first level of escalation for procurement-related issues within the CoE.4. Oversee and ensure the successful execution of team projects and initiatives.5. Foster talent development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.6.Interact with CoE Team across the Global and drive effective improvement in process.7. Network Collaboration: – Work closely with the Network stakeholder, monitor KPIs, voice of customer through periodic meetings and ensuring timely resolution to stakeholder queries/feedback etcQualifications:
Education level requiredBachelor Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical), Business Administration / International Business, Finance, or similar fieldsYears and area of experience requiredMinimum 5-7 years of experience in SCM related positions (planning, customer service, procurement)Preferable experience at the manufacturing area.Technical knowledgeAdvanced PC skills (SAP, MAPICS , KINAXIS , AS400, VISTA /Spanish). Advanced ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.Advance EnglishDeep understanding of supply planning and procurement processesSkills:
