This Position reports to:
Maintenance SupervisorIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes for maintaining and preserving the effectiveness of all equipment, production lines and/or facilities, which will help optimize technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee the execution of routine and non-routine maintenance of equipment, production lines and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation for equipment, production lines and/or facilities.
The work model for this role is on-site at 4025 Trans-Canada Hwy, Pointe-Claire, H9R 1B4.
Our night shift employees work 5 days a week, from Sunday to Thursday, from 11:30 PM to 7:10 AM
This role contributes to the Electrification Installation Products Division (ELIP) in Canada.
Your Role: Own the Challenge
Define maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and advise on ways to improve the reliability, maintainability and safety of equipment and/or facilities.
Resolve major technical, equipment or facility issues in order to achieve better production line performance.
Propose process and production line improvement projects aimed at reducing routine and non-routine maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions and other operating issues in order to minimize disruptions to the production process.
Prepare and maintain machine cleanliness.
Participate in various projects within the plant.
Collaborate, share and communicate effectively with contractors, team members and plant personnel.
Perform various tasks related to the position.
Apply quality procedures and policies.

What it takes to run what runs the world
Minimum of 3 years of experience in plastics processing
Education in plastics processing or experience in a similar position
Basic knowledge of molds
Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
Good organizational and priority-setting skills
Autonomy, resourcefulness and good team spirit
Proficiency in French and/or English, spoken and written
