Summary:
As a Security Managed Services Practitioner, a typical day involves overseeing the delivery and management of security services tailored to diverse client environments. This role requires continuous monitoring and coordination to maintain protection, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and support operational resilience. The practitioner actively engages with various stakeholders to align security measures with client needs, adapting to evolving challenges and maintaining a secure and stable environment throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead & Mentor Cyber Security Team.
- Support the building of Cyber Security Procedures & Policies.
- Support in Security Architecture decisions.
- Oversee vulnerability scanning processes to validate the effectiveness of patching efforts.
- Arrange and support security penetration testing initiatives.
- Monitor external information sources and provide recommendations on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities relevant to our environment.
- Assess, plan, and coordinate patch management activities for internal systems and hardware.
- Evaluate and recommend server hardening measures for implementation by the Infrastructure Team.
- Assist with the configuration of email and internet security solutions.
- Ensure all security configurations comply with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus standards.
- Complete assigned tasks in accordance with cyber security best practices.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies and applicable legislation.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cybersecurity Fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and threat management.
- Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response processes.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity.
- Ability to analyze security events and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and vulnerability management.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Cybersecurity Fundamentals.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
