Overview
We are looking for our next Project Manager (Senior Producer) to join our Creative & Production department.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
Production & Execution
- Manage print, lettershop, and collateral production ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee all phases of production including estimating, scheduling, and delivery logistics.
- Coordinate with creative teams and vendors to confirm feasibility, recommend materials, printing methods, and optimize for quality and efficiency.
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Source, evaluate, and manage print vendors and lettershops. Negotiate costs, establish production schedules, and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships that foster innovation, continuous improvement, and reliability across multiple product lines.
Postal & Compliance Oversight
- Manage postal requirements and ensure all mailings comply with USPS regulations.
- Partner with data and fulfillment teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient delivery.
Financial & Process Management
- Create and manage purchase orders, audit vendor invoices, and provide accurate cost recaps and reconciliations.
- Maintain accountability for production budgets, vendor estimates, and cost tracking throughout each campaign lifecycle.
- Identify and implement process improvements that drive efficiency, quality, and cost savings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner proactively with creative, account, and operations teams to resolve issues, communicate project status, and manage risks or supply chain challenges.
- Serve as a trusted production expert and advisor, ensuring creative ideas are translated into executable, on-brand, and cost-effective outputs.
Qualifications
- 8 years in Project Management for projects and campaigns in Creative/Production Advertising environment.
- Extensive experience with Vendor management
- Budget processing and tracking
- Experience with Print workflows
- Familiar with Directmail with US standards
