Asset Associate (Part Time)

As an Asset Associate (Part Time) in Global Broker Dealer Asset Servicing, you will support the end-to-end management of corporate actions, income collection, and reconciliation across EMEA markets. You'll work closely with trading desks, middle office, finance, and other partners to deliver excellent service and manage risk. This role gives you exposure to Prime Services, Equities, and Fixed Income business lines, helping you develop comprehensive knowledge of our products and operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end notification and management of all corporate action events throughout the EMEA region
- Investigate and resolve breaks related to corporate actions
- Liaise with internal and external counterparties to resolve issues promptly
- Assist team members during peak work periods to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure discretionary corporate instructions are sent to custodians on a timely basis
- Process dividends, coupons, and manufactured income across a variety of markets
- Produce daily management reporting and complete daily reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve complex issues and enquiries
- Review breaks regularly for potential risks and escalate appropriately
- Collaborate with senior management, technology, middle office, finance, front office, and clients to manage risk and deliver excellent global service
- Contribute to project work focused on improving efficiency and reducing risk
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Asset servicing knowledge and experience within a financial services operations environment
- Experience managing large teams in an asset servicing or operations setting
- Demonstrated project management experience within financial services
- Proven risk awareness and operational control experience
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
- Ability to deliver accurate work within strict deadlines
- Flexible, proactive attitude with adaptability to changing business needs

- Understanding of the transaction and trade lifecycle
