About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor Warehouse & Shipping to lead our warehouse operations while ensuring full compliance with customs regulations. In this role, you will oversee the receipt, storage, inventory management, shipping activities, and customs processes, while leading and developing a team to achieve operational excellence.

You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring efficient and compliant logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt of incoming goods and services. 
• Oversee the storage and inventory management of raw materials, components, and finished products. 
• Ensure accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations. 
• Coordinate and execute the shipping plan to meet customer and business requirements. 
• Ensure accurate customs declarations and compliance with all applicable customs laws and regulations. 
• Act as the internal and external point of contact for customs-related matters and provide expert guidance. 
• Collect and maintain all required documentation for import and export customs declarations. 
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop warehouse employees to achieve operational goals. 
• Organize effective communication within the warehouse team and maintain strong collaboration with other departments and external partners. 
• Conduct recruitment, performance reviews, and employee development discussions. 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse and logistics processes. 
• Contribute to high inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and a safe working environment. 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar warehouse, logistics, or supply chain leadership role. 
• Proven experience managing and developing teams. 
• Solid understanding of: 
  • Goods receiving 
  • Inventory management 
  • Inventory control and cycle counting 
  • Packing and shipping processes 
• Good command of the English language (written and spoken). 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environment. 
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS) or a similar ERP system. 
• Good command of the Dutch language. 
• Knowledge of warehouse process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
