Position Summary
As Director, Platform Operations, you will lead the systems, processes, governance, and operational strategies that enable high-quality proposal development across the organization. This role drives operational excellence by ensuring proposal tools, workflows, reporting, and resource planning are scalable, effective, and aligned with business priorities. You will partner closely with proposal leadership, technology teams, and business stakeholders to improve performance, adoption, and execution while leading a high-performing operations team.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the Platform Operations team, establishing priorities, performance expectations, and development opportunities while aligning operational strategies with proposal business objectives.
- Oversee proposal workflows, governance, documentation, and operational standards to drive consistency, efficiency, quality, and scalability across the proposal lifecycle.
- Manage proposal platforms, reporting tools, and operational infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, process compliance, user support, and continuous optimization.
- Use reporting, analytics, and capacity planning insights to inform decision-making, identify opportunities for improvement, and support future resource needs.
- Lead change management, training, and adoption efforts while partnering with internal stakeholders, vendors, and consultants to implement operational enhancements and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in proposal operations, business operations, program management, project management, or operational excellence.
- 3+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
- Experience developing and improving business processes, workflows, standard operating procedures, and operational governance models.
- Experience with collaboration, workflow, reporting, and project management tools such as SharePoint, Asana, dashboards, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Medicaid, healthcare, government procurement, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience supporting proposal development, RFP/RFX operations, capture management, or knowledge management functions.
- Experience leading operational change initiatives, platform implementations, or workflow transformation projects.
- Experience with workforce planning, capacity forecasting, vendor management, or consultant coordination.
- APMP certification, Project Management certification, or related professional credentials.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
