Intermediate FP&A Analyst Finance Remote - Canada Apply Description Position at VIPRE Security Group The Opportunity:Join an energetic team in one of the hottest growing sectors in software— cybersecurity. The Intermediate Financial Analyst  will be part of the FP&A team reporting to the B2C Finance Director. You will be responsible for conducting complex financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive strategic business growth. You will partner with cross-functional leadership (Sales, Ops, Marketing) to provide actionable insights, oversee the annual budgeting process, and leverage advanced data tools to improve financial predictability.  The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the business growth looking after the B2C Business Unit products (IPVanish, StrongVPN, LiveDrive, etc.). This role is fully remote in Mexico and your stakeholders are in both the USA and EU. Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning & ForecastingDevelop and maintain sophisticated rolling forecasts to ensure financial visibilityLead the annual bottom-up budgeting process, ensuring robust alignment with corporate long-term strategic goals#Create "what-if" models and advanced scenarios to evaluate market volatility, new product launches, or potential M&A activityPerformance Analysis & ReportingExecute rigorous variance reporting by analyzing monthly actuals against budget and forecast to pinpoint key performance driversEstablish and monitor critical business health KPIs, including CAC, LTV, Churn Rate, and EBITDA margins, to ensure operational excellenceCollaborate with department leadership to drive cost optimization by identifying structural inefficiencies and recommending strategic savingsData & Technology IntegrationLeverage AI-driven methodologies for predictive trend analysis and streamline recurring reporting workflows via advanced Excel automationArchitect and manage dynamic dashboards to translate complex datasets into accessible insights for cross-functional partnersServe as an ERP steward by executing advanced SQL queries across enterprise systems to extract mission-critical dataMonth End Close & Accrual Management▪ Work with accounting to review expenses and monthly accrual estimates based on business unit inputs, vendor invoices, and run-rate analysis▪ Maintain and update the monthly close calendar and prepaid/accrual schedules▪ Collaborate with business partners to capture late-breaking cost and revenue items prior to hard close▪ Track and report on accrual-to-actual true-ups each month; refine estimates to improve accuracy over timeJob Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or professional certification (CFA/CPA) is highly desirable.4+ years of progressive, hands-on experience within a corporate FP&A environment.Expert-level proficiency in Excel (including VBA and Power Query) with a proven track record of applying financial modeling best practices.Strong command of modern data stacks, for predictive financial data science.Professional & Soft SkillsExceptional data storytelling abilities, with the skill to synthesize complex datasets into compelling narratives for executive-level stakeholders.Demonstrated capacity for strategic partnership, serving as a proactive internal consultant to cross-functional departments.About Vipre Security GroupVIPRE Security Group, a part of Ziff Davis (NASDAQ : ZD), is a global, highly rated, award-winning security, privacy and data protection company protecting millions of consumers and businesses supporting some of the largest brands.
