Job Summary**
CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to manage the preparation and dispatch of finished goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all shipping operations. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory integrity and timely delivery to our customers.
Job Responsibilities**
* Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and commercial invoices.
* Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure products are ready for shipment according to schedules.
* Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments against orders, ensuring correct quantities, product types, and addresses.
* Arrange transportation and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
* Load and unload trucks, when necessary, using appropriate equipment and following safety guidelines.
* Maintain accurate inventory records of shipped goods and materials.
* Communicate effectively with carriers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipping statuses and issues.
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
* Ensure all shipping activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
* Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including organizing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Job Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree in logistics or a related field is a plus.
* Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
* Proficient in using shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks required in a warehouse setting.
* Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
