We specialize in creating cutting-edge solutions that transform industries and redefine user experiences.Your ResponsibilitiesManage electronics development projects from concept through prototyping, validation, and release to productionOrganize sprint-based or milestone-driven planning for electronics development cyclesTranslate system and business requirements into detailed JIRA tickets and structured hardware work packagesCoordinate schematic design, PCB layout, firmware alignment, bring-up, testing, and certification activitiesTrack dependencies between electronics, firmware, mechanics, and software teamsEnsure adherence to timelines for prototype builds, board, spins, testing phases, and production releaseIdentify risks related to the supply chain, component availability, validation, and compliance early and proactivelyMonitor validation progress, including EMC, safety, thermal, and reliability testingEnsure structured documentation (schematics, layout reviews, BOMs, test reports, revision tracking)Provide clear status reporting and milestone transparency to stakeholdersEssential SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of proven experience as Technical Project Manager or Electronics Project Manager in hardware developmentStrong technical background in electronics design (analog/digital circuits, PCB development, power electronics, embedded systems)Experience with full hardware development lifecycle including prototyping, validation, certification,and production ramp-upSolid understanding of firmware-hardware interaction and embedded systemsHands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and structured requirement managementStrong knowledge of risk management in hardware projects (e.g., long lead-time components, board re-spins, test failures)Excellent planning and organizational skills ensuring structured execution and clarity across the teamStrong communication skills in EnglishExperience working in robotics or complex mechatronic systemsBeneficial SkillsExperience with safety standards (e.g., functional safety concepts)Knowledge of EMC compliance and regulatory certification processesSupply chain and vendor management experienceGerman and Mandarin languages are a plusFlexibility for business tripsWhat we offerDynamic high-tech startup combined with financial soundness and world-class investorsChallenging tasks and projects for your professional growth, with an open-minded environment for creativity and personal developmentCorporate benefits program that covers health, sports, mobility and language coursesGreat working environment in an interdisciplinary, international teamAbout usAgile Robots SE is an international high-tech company based in Munich, Germany with a production site in Kaufbeuren and more than 2300 employees worldwide.
