About the role:
 

Our Data&AI team in Sofia and Varna is looking for you!
 

As a Java Developer with Italian, you will design, develop, and support enterprise-grade applications and integration solutions for global clients. You will work closely with international teams to build scalable, reliable, and high-performing systems that enable organizations to leverage data-driven insights and streamline business processes.

This role is strongly hands-on and development-focused, combining modern Java technologies, integration platforms, and data processing solutions. You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and implementation to deployment and operational support.

Daily challenges:

• Developing and maintaining enterprise Java applications using Java 11/17;
• Designing, developing, and enhancing RESTful APIs following industry best practices;
• Building and supporting integration workflows using Oracle Service Bus;
• Contributing to data processing pipelines and data integration solutions;
• Troubleshooting and resolving application and platform-related issues;
• Performing code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and clean code principles;
• Collaborating with cross-functional and international teams in an Agile environment;
• Supporting platform stability, performance optimization, and operational excellence;
• Communicating effectively with Italian-speaking stakeholders and business users.

eXperience and skills required:

• Strong experience with Core Java (11+/17), including OOP principles, collections, and multithreading;
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs;
• Strong SQL and database knowledge, including query optimization;
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, Maven, and Git;
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including clean, modular, readable, and testable code;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
• Experience working in Agile development environments;
• Professional proficiency in Italian;
• English language skills at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Service Bus;
• Experience with Cloudera CDP;
• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL;
• Experience working with JDBC API;
• Exposure to enterprise data integration and large-scale data processing platforms.
