Group Details

Tradeweb is seeking a highly motivated Clearing Operations Specialist to join our Clearing team. This role is responsible for supporting the operational processes that underpin Tradeweb's cleared trading workflows across multiple asset classes. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, dealers, clearing brokers, central counterparties (CCPs), and internal teams to ensure the timely onboarding, support, and resolution of clearing-related queries.

The role requires strong operational knowledge of post-trade workflows, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities

Clearing Operations

  • Manage the day-to-day operational support for cleared trading across Tradeweb platforms. 
  • Monitor clearing workflows to ensure trades are successfully submitted and accepted by clearing houses. 
  • Investigate and resolve trade breaks, rejected trades, and clearing exceptions in a timely manner. 
  • Coordinate with clearing brokers, CCPs, custodians and clients to resolve operational issues. 
  • Monitor operational dashboards and proactively identify potential risks impacting trade processing.

Client Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clearing-related client enquiries. 
  • Provide expert guidance on Tradeweb clearing workflows and operational processes. 
  • Support clients during production issues, coordinating with Product, Technology and Sales where required. 
  • Deliver a high standard of client service while managing multiple priorities. 

Onboarding & Implementation

  • Coordinate the onboarding of new clients, dealers and clearing brokers. 
  • Validate account setups and clearing permissions. 
  • Support testing activities prior to production go-live. 
  • Ensure all operational readiness checks are completed before launch. 

Operational Excellence

  • Perform daily health checks and operational controls across supported platforms. 
  • Maintain operational procedures and documentation. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation and AI-enabled solutions. 
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance scalability and client experience. 

Risk & Governance

  • Ensure operational processes comply with internal controls and regulatory requirements. 
  • Escalate operational risks appropriately. 
  • Assist with audit requests and operational reporting. 
  • Contribute to business continuity and incident management activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting fixed income, derivatives, money markets or repo products. 
  • Knowledge of settlement and post-trade processing across multiple global markets. 
  • Experience working with electronic trading platforms. 
  • Familiarity with OSTTRA Markitwire, Traiana Limithub, Pershing settlement, SWIFT messaging, FIX connectivity, or post-trade messaging standards. 
  • Experience using AI tools to improve operational processes and documentation. 
  • Understanding of regulatory initiatives affecting cleared markets.
