Job Description:

Department Overview

Building a World-Class, Diverse and Inclusive Technology Team

Within TD Technology, the Treasury Analytics Group (TAG) supports TD Securities and Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) by delivering models, financial systems, applications, and processes that enable key business and control functions, including Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) deal management and securitization.

As the industry continue to increase their focus on capital management, risk transfer, resiliency, and control effectiveness, this opportunity provides a unique chance to help lead the technology platform supporting TDS SRT management. The team operates with the agility of a focused technology group within a large financial institution. The ideal candidate is a passionate technical lead and hands-on developer who enjoys experimenting with modern technologies and building efficient, scalable, reusable, and well-controlled solutions.

Job Description

About This Role

The Treasury Analytics Group (TAG) is looking for a Lead Developer to lead technology delivery for the TDS Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) management platform. This role will be responsible for driving the design, development, and modernization of SRT deal management capabilities that support business operations, control functions, and regulatory expectations across TD Securities. The successful candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders, product teams, technology partners, and delivery teams to build scalable, resilient, secure, and well-controlled solutions for critical SRT deal management workflows.

As Technical Lead, you will provide hands-on leadership across solution architecture, application design, engineering practices, release planning, and production readiness. You will help shape strategic technology decisions, guide the team through complex design and implementation challenges, and ensure solutions are built using modern engineering principles, including microservices, APIs, cloud-ready architecture, automation, secure coding, and strong operational controls. The role requires strong experience with C#, .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and enterprise integration patterns, with exposure to Azure and modern DevOps practices considered an asset.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with practical delivery leadership. You will mentor developers, provide design direction, promote code quality and engineering standards, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners. You should be comfortable balancing delivery priorities, risk management, production stability, and long-term platform modernization while maintaining a strong focus on quality, resiliency, control effectiveness, and business value.

Experience in capital markets, securitization, transaction processing, or banking application delivery would be highly valuable. This role provides an opportunity to lead a strategically important TDS platform, work with experienced business and technology professionals, and contribute to modernization initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, enhance resiliency, and support the future growth of TD Securities.
