We’re seeking a future team member for the role of India CISO Function Leader to join our CISO team. This role is located in Pune

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead and manage the India CISO function
  • Ensure SLAs, KPIs, and performance benchmarks are consistently met or exceeded
  • Own operational excellence and continuous improvement for the India CISO function
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all India CISO function operations
  • Provide regular reporting, metrics, and operational insights to global management and business stakeholders
  • Support global projects, incident response coordination, and threat mitigation initiatives
  • Lead recruitment, retention, and development of high-performing professionals within the India CISO function
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability
  • Provide mentoring, succession planning, and performance management for team members
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures, runbooks, and escalation protocols
  • Ensure alignment with internal audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
  • Support Global Incident Response processes
  • Ensure adherence to security standards and timely resolution of vulnerabilities and risks identified
  • Participate in global risk assessments and control testing
  • Identify opportunities for automation, tool consolidation, and process efficiency
  • Promote innovation in threat detection, metrics reporting, and engineering workflows
  • Collaborate with global teams to evaluate and deploy new tools and technologies

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, with 5+ years in a leadership or management role
  • Proven experience managing offshore or geographically distributed security teams
  • Strong understanding of Security Operations Centre operations, threat intelligence, incident response, and common security tooling
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex security functions in a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment
  • Strong leadership presence and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across time zones and cultures
  • Results-oriented with a focus on delivery, accountability, and quality
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change in a global organization
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, healthcare, or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and metrics-driven performance management
  • Understanding of cloud security operations (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
