We're looking for a VAT Executive to join our Tax team. In this role, you'll collaborate with experienced professionals who are committed to solving important challenges and delivering meaningful outcomes for our clients and communities. Your Mission:

Your career with PwC is what you make it. As our new VAT Executive, you will:

  • Support the review of compliance and advisory work carried out by junior team members, working alongside the VAT leadership team on a varied portfolio of local and international clients
  • Identify VAT compliance gaps and provide tailored recommendations on key areas of focus for clients' businesses
  • Liaise with local tax authorities and contribute to audit procedures
  • Provide guidance and training to team members to ensure the appropriate VAT treatment is applied
  • Deliver or contribute to internal and external training sessions
  • Take an active role in team initiatives that foster collaboration and a strong team dynamic at all levels

About You:

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Master's degree in Accountancy or has successfully completed the ACCA qualification
  • Has 3+ years of prior experience working in VAT
  • Is fluent in English and Maltese, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Has experience coaching and guiding team members
  • Is eager to gain exposure across various disciplines and industries
  • Can effectively prioritise and manage competing tasks
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and a proactive, "can-do" attitude
  • Shows initiative in proposing, planning, and implementing new projects, and in promoting our existing and new service offerings
