We are looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to join our office in Espoo. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the qualification of new satellite hardware, developing test equipment, and contributing to the Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) activities for next-generation satellite platforms.Who We AreICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.Your day-to-day responsibilitiesDesign qualification plans to validate power, digital, and mixed-signal electronics against design requirements.Document test procedures, test results, assembly procedures and all the related documentation for our internal reviews.Conduct qualification testPerforming data analysis after test results, conducting root cause analysis on failures, and presenting results to key stakeholders.Provide feedback to designersEGSE design, data acquisition systems, custom test hardware and softwareWhat we’re looking forMust haves:BSc/MSc degree in Electronic Engineering or similar3+ years of experience in the area of testing, test automation, and electronics.Experience as an electronics test engineer and/or electronics design engineer.Testing a custom electronics system with a wide variety of lab equipment such as digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, vector signal analyzers, thermal chambers, and others.Performing root-cause analysis on failures.A positive attitude and a desire to learn new things.Suits well in multicultural environmentsGood written and spoken English communication skills.Nice to haves:Aerospace industry experienceExperience in programming with pythonPCB design with Altium or a similar electronics design (EDA) tool.Experience with revision control tools (like Git or SVN)Hands on experience in satellite assemblyApplication ProcessRecruiter screeningHiring manager interviewTechnical taskTechnical panel interviewDirector interviewWorking at ICEYEAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
