About All In One Accounting

All In One Accounting is a 7-time winner of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies in the Twin Cities and one of the Best Places to Work in the Minneapolis area. Our purpose is simple: to make the lives of entrepreneurial and nonprofit leaders better. We do that by supporting profitable growth, protecting assets, and amplifying impact — bringing financial clarity and strategic leadership to the clients who need it most. We run on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), which means clear goals, strong accountability, and a team that executes with intention.

About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Manufacturing Accountant who can independently manage complex manufacturing client work, own sophisticated cost accounting structures, and informally mentor junior team members. You've operated in or closely served manufacturing environments, and you understand how to connect cost data to the decisions that drive product profitability, pricing strategy, and operational efficiency. You're the financial resource your clients, Controller, and CFOs rely on — accurate, proactive, and always thinking one step ahead.

Now About You

We hire for hungry, humble, and smart — and at the Senior Accountant level, those qualities show up with more depth and independence. Hungry means you're proactively improving your clients' financial operations and sharing what you know with the people around you. Humble means you've earned your expertise but you're still the first to ask a question or admit uncertainty when it matters. Smart means you operate with strong judgment, catch issues before they surface, and communicate with the kind of clarity that makes Controllers and clients alike trust your work without needing to check behind you.

Responsibilities & Expectations

Client Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting for complex manufacturing clients with minimal Controller and CFO oversight

• Maintain sophisticated standard costing systems including BOM management and overhead rate development

• Prepare and review monthly cost variance analysis including material, labor, and overhead variances

• Manage inventory valuation across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods with full reconciliation

• Lead month-end COGS review including absorption adjustments and inventory reserve analysis

• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements with product-line profitability and gross margin analysis

• Independently identify and resolve complex cost accounting discrepancies

• Informally mentor Accountants on manufacturing cost accounting principles and practices

• Develop and document process improvements for manufacturing client accounting cycles

• Support capital expenditure tracking and fixed asset management

• Implement and maintain robust internal controls across client accounts

• Utilize current processes and tools, including code red alerts, to proactively identify and prevent fraud throughout all client accounting processes

• Meet or exceed billable hours goals while maintaining service excellence

Internal Responsibilities

• Complete all internal responsibilities including time tracking, capacity planning, and quarterly initiatives

• Actively participate in All In One Accounting's Brand Ambassador program, representing our mission and values

• Uphold security practices to protect client assets effectively

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent experience

• Experience in a multi-client or Client Accounting Services (CAS) environment strongly preferred

• 6+ years of accounting experience with significant manufacturing industry focus

• Deep expertise in cost accounting, standard costing, inventory management, and COGS analysis

• Proven ability to manage complex manufacturing client work independently

• Proficiency with manufacturing or ERP accounting platforms

• Demonstrated informal mentorship or knowledge-sharing with junior staff

• Excellence in written and verbal communication with manufacturing business owners and operators
