Position Summary:
The Flight Crew Scheduler schedules Flight Crewmembers in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Company policies and procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The highest level of customer service is essential while coordinating with other departments and communicating with Crewmembers.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Schedule and notify Flight Crewmembers in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR Company policies and procedures, and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) using available data and reports
- Monitor Flight Crewmembers’ schedules for irregularities
- Process Crewmember schedule adjustments using automated computer programs
- Arrange for Crewmember hotel and/or transportation if necessary
- Assist with research, data analysis, development and execution of departmental programs
- Complete other duties as assigned by Crew Services and/or System Operations Leadership
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- One (1) year customer service or office experience
- Successful completion of pre-employment assessment(s)
- Available for overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience
- Crew Scheduling experience
- Operations experience in Part 117 and 121 Airline environment

- Flexible work schedule to support the 24/7 operation
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Identify safety and security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
- Adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
- Upholding JetBlue’s safety performance metric goals and understanding how they relate to their duties and responsibilities

Compensation:
- The base pay for this position starts at $26.25 per hour.
