Role Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering analysis and systems-level design evaluation under general supervision

  • Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and specifications demonstrating strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals

  • Perform simulation-based analysis (FEA, thermal, CFD) to validate designs; troubleshoot and interpret simulation results

  • Troubleshoot and solve moderately complex to complex mechanical problems using systematic problem-solving and root cause analysis

  • Coordinate with cross functional and multi domain teams from ideation to design validation and production release

  • Perform and document comprehensive engineering test reports; generate alpha/beta/release documentation

  • Enable handling, assembly, disassembly, and lifecycle support of parts, components, and assemblies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

  • 4-6 years of related mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or product development experience

  • Hands-on experience with simulation tools (FEA, CFD, thermal analysis - ANSYS, or equivalent)

  • Strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals (stress analysis, material properties, thermal systems, dynamics)

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting capability; ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues

  • Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, or equivalent)

  • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and manufacturing methods


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree (M.Tech/M.S.) or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or specialized area (Thermal, Structural, Dynamics, etc.)

  • Expertise in one or more areas: structural analysis, thermal systems, vibration analysis.

  • Experience with semiconductor equipment design or manufacturing (advantage for understanding high-precision, high-reliability requirements)

  • Demonstrated systems engineering approach to multi-domain mechanical problems

  • Knowledge of material selection, failure analysis, or reliability engineering principles

  • Experience with precision mechanisms, or high-vacuum systems
