You will design, develop, and integrate electromechanical subsystems of our humanoid robot platform, including actuators, sensors, wiring, and mechanical structures, ensuring seamless interaction with our embedded firmware and ROS2-based software stack. This role is key to driving the evolution of our robot hardware, taking ownership of system-level design, integration strategies, and validation of workflows for new modules and subsystems. Your ResponsibilitiesDesign and integrate actuator and sensor subsystems for robot arms, grippers, and other modulesCollaborate with embedded engineers to define interfaces and integration pointsDevelop wiring harnesses, connectors, and cable routing strategies for reliability and maintainabilityAssistin calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of sensors and electromechanical componentsSupport hardware bring-up and prototype validation of new modulesEssential SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldStrong hands-on and design experience in electromechanical systems (motors, actuators, sensors, gearboxes)Experience with system integration, calibration, and testing of hardware modulesAbility to read and create mechanical CAD and electrical schematicsUnderstanding of embedded systems, communication interfaces, and sensor integrationFamiliarity with real-time systems and collaborative development with software/embedded teamsBeneficial Skills1+ years' experience with robotic arms, humanoid platforms, or dual-arm manipulation systemsFamiliarity withembedded motorcontrollers and motion control systems Knowledge of ROS2 integration and sensor data pipelinesExperience defining standards for hardware-software co-designWhat we offerA dynamic high-tech company combined with financial soundness and world-class investors.Join an interdisciplinary, international team with 60+ different nationalities in a collaborative work environment.Lotsof development opportunities in the context of our continued growth.Challenging tasks and impactful projects alongside experts that enable professional and personal growth.Corporate Benefits Program that covers health, mobility, and learning with 100€ net per month.Modern office facilities with a rooftop terrace overlooking Munich, free drinks & fruits, and regular company events contribute to a good working environment.About usAgile Robots SE is an international high-tech company based in Munich, Germany with a production site in Kaufbeuren and more than 2300 employees worldwide.
