ED, Head of Product Solution and Distribution, Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals, Global Financial Markets

Overview

Reporting to Head of Foreign Exchange and Digital Assets, Global Financial Markets, a visionary, highly analytical, and entrepreneurial Product Solution and Distribution Head will run strategy, design and execution of product capability. The candidate will own end-to-end product life cycle for G10 and EM FX and Precious Metals.

 

The candidate will manage a talented team of front-office quants, infrastructure and distribution specialists, and collaborate closely with traders, sales teams, technology engineers, and many other internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in market structure, electronic trading and distribution systems, data and quantitative skills, and comprehensive regulatory and technical understanding of both traditional financial products and implication of blockchain technology/tokenisation to capital market products.

 

Key Responsibility

 

- FX product

1. Strategy and execution in growing FX footprint and volume across client segment 
2. Manages FX infrastructure to offer omnichannel distribution capability
3. Manages quant research and development effort for pricing and automated hedging models

- Precious metals

1. Strategy and execution to build precious metal product capability  
2. Distribution of DBS Physical Gold Tokens, amongst other gold products

- AI adoption

1. Oversees and executes desk strategy on AI adoption
