The Supply Technician II is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies within a facility, including tasks like receiving deliveries, checking against orders, maintaining inventory levels, preparing items for shipment, and ensuring accurate record-keeping to maintain proper accountability of all supplies.
Responsibilities
- Works within a framework of established regulations, policies, and procedures, or other governing property management guidelines.
- Deals with a variety of operating officials regarding limited aspects of program needs of the organization serviced.
- Manages the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies within a facility
- Receives deliveries
- Checks against orders
- Maintains inventory levels
- Prepares items for shipment, and ensure accurate record-keeping to maintain proper accountability of all supplies
- Reviews and annotates changes to unit material condition status report
- Posts transactions to the organizational and Installation Property Books and supporting transaction files.
- Edits all received supply transactions and posts as applicable.
- Generates hand receipts, ad hoc reports and other accountability documentations as directed.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years related work experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
