Building Custodian- $17 Per Hour 2nd Shift
Job Description:
Summary of position:
This position primarily consists of performing custodial duties including maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Essential Functions:
• Maintain floors in a clean state by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and waxing.
• Empty trash receptacles and wiping surfaces as needed.
• Transport trash to designated location.
• Restock necessary items, such as soap and paper products.
• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of all bathroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors using approved chemicals.
• Work with cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to read a Safety Data Sheet.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
• Maintain pick area and reserve free of trash and debris.
• Ability to operate manual pallet jack.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and conveyors
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift
• Work in non-climatically controlled environment throughout the year
Starting Salary: 2nd shift = $15.00 + 2.00 shift differential = $17.00
Location: Algoa, McCarty and/or Robinson Road Buildings
Hours: 2nd shift = 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Monday – Friday
Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs
• Refer to Physical Demand Analysis (PDA) for complete physical requirements
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
