Frito Lay Scarborough Warehouse Job Fair

Overview

PepsiCo Foods Canada will be hosting a Job Fair at the Frito Lay Distribution Center in Scarborough, ON, hiring for Part-time Warehouse Technicians.

 

The Role: The Warehouse Technician will contribute to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada by playing a critical role in the “move” portion of our business. The Warehouse Technician will be required to ensure the accuracy of the orders that they are picking, as well as ensure they are performing their job efficiently and effectively. This role requires prolonged standing, lifting, and frequent movement.  

 

Compensation: $24.51 per hour

 

Shift: 3-4 days per week, 2pm-10pm

Candidates will require flexible availability including weekdays, weekends, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Picks customer orders by full cases by voice or scanner  

• Pick customer orders by individual bag on Pre-pick module/cart 

• Loads route trucks with product using roller carts or by hand-bombing  

• Uploads cardboard and return product from route trucks into inventory  

• Stacks and bundles cardboards  

• Performs general clean-up/sanitation duties including facility and ground appearance  

• Work in a safe manner utilizing safe lifting techniques  

• Attend regular scheduled team meetings   

Qualifications

• Completed high school diploma or GED equivalent   

• Able to work independently and in a team environment  

• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines  

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs as required  

• Forklift experience preferred  

• Valid Class G drivers license with a clean driving record is a plus 

• Excellent communication skills
