- Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a residential community.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, issue access credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs.
- Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Communicate professionally with residents, property management, and emergency responders regarding security-related matters and access requests.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
