onsemi is seeking a Thin Film EQ Maintenance manager in our Gresham site. This position is a key player at onsemi’s 200mm semiconductor fab manufacturing facility. You will manage a dynamic team of engineers and technicians responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and supporting a fleet of (Thin Films) tools. - Team – Equipment Engineers and Technicians on a four-shift compressed workweek
- Equipment – Thin Films: AMAT Endura - both PVD/CVD (TxZ), AMAT Centura (HDP and DxZ), AMAT Producer (SACVD), Novellus Concept 2 (Speed, Sequel, and Altus)
- Budget - $3.2M in 2023 for Spares/Consumables
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a strong safety and 5S culture.
- Support hiring, employee engagement, and professional development of staff.
- Administer training programs for equipment maintenance, PM schedules, and coverage.
- Provide tactical management of 24x7 maintenance operations.
- Meet corporate quality standards and applicable customer-specific requirements.
- Reduce equipment-related wafer scrap and die yield losses.
- Secure equipment capacity needed to meet ramp requirements and new technology needs.
- Establish and maintain an appropriate inventory of spare parts and consumables.
- Improve equipment performance for better uptime, stability, and predictability.
- Drive equipment maintenance cost reductions
- Develop and execute strategies to mitigate equipment and component obsolescence.
- Employ metrics to evaluate equipment performance and identify opportunities.
- Pursue maintenance objectives for improved Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Partner with key suppliers to deliver robust solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytics and problem-solving
- Practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and controls
Preferred:
- 2-5 years of previous supervisory/management experience
- Equipment engineering or maintenance background
