Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are Monday -Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $27.92 + a $0.50 shift premium per hour. The core hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The starting hourly rate for this position is $27.92. Employees follow a wage progression schedule and will reach $30.61 per hour after 16 months. In addition, there is a shift premium of $0.50. What you’ll do: In this function, you will: • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and mechanical issues. • Install, repair, and/or fabricate new equipment and components as needed. • Supporting the Tier 1 & 2 operational processes through completion of action cards and rapid response activities. • Support physical transformation and continuous improvement (GDP) initiatives throughout the facility. Primary Equipment and Tools: • Mobile Equipment • Hand & Power Tools • Electrical Tools • Test Equipment • Saws • Shears • Welding Equipment • Presses • Drill Presses • Brake Press Required Safety and Quality Training (included but not limited to): • Lockout-Tagout Training • Hydraulic Training • Electrical Training • Power Press Guarding • Fall Protection • Confined Space Training • Troubleshooting PLC Issues • Powered Industrial Truck – Maintenance specific • Overhead Crane • PM Adherence • Mechanical Power Press • Hot Work Permit • First Aid/CPR • Blood Borne Pathogens • Laser Maintenance • SPPC/Storm Water • Sprinkler inspection • 8 hour Hazardous waste/DOT manifesting and labeling • Waste Water System operation • Asbestos ## Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered.
