Requirements

Your Skills & Knowledge

• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks to meet key deadlines 
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Be a team-player and collaborate with all levels within an organisation 
• Outstanding attention to detail 
• Intermediate to advanced Excel (index match, vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables). 
• Strong computer literacy 
• Experience working with accounting systems (Sage Intacct, SAP Concur, Insight      Software, XERO) 

 
Your Qualifications

• Ideally, you’ve got a degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance,
• And 1 to 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or finance administration, or fresh out of uni is ok too!
• Knowledge of general accounting concepts/terms,
• Understanding of financial statements, and
• Knowledge of components that builds the financial statements (AP, AR, accrued income/expenses, deferred revenue, fixed assets, intangibles, etc) 

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Process and manage supplier invoices, purchase orders and expenses
• Maintain and reconcile creditor accounts accurately
• Manage expense and corporate credit card transactions
• Ensure precise GL coding and journal entries
• Assist with month-end closing activities, reporting, and accruals
• Coordinate international and manual payments twice a month
• Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable and other finance tasks
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
• Process daily cash transactions (AP and AR functions)

• EOM journal preparation
