Senior Product Success Manager - Sustainability
As a Senior Product Success Manager - Sustainability, you will drive product adoption and growth motions at Workiva. You will work directly with customers to enhance their experience and build successful reference accounts. You will collaborate with internal teams to monitor satisfaction, deliver programs, and act as a liaison for platform deployment. Based in our Growth Team, you will define success for our solutions in Sustainability.
What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end onboarding and feature adoption for mid-market and enterprise clients managing carbon accounting and sustainability metrics
Help customers map organizational structures, facility data, and Scope 1, 2, and 3 emission boundaries into the platform
Define and measure Key Value Indicators (KVIs) with sustainability leads, CFOs, and ESG compliance teams
Serve as a subject matter expert on carbon reporting standards to guide users through emission factor selections, data collection workflows, and audit-ready reporting
Translate complex regulatory changes into clear, actionable product guidance for users
Monitor customer usage patterns, renewal likelihood, and platform health scores to proactively prevent churn
Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews showcasing carbon reduction milestones, reporting readiness, and platform ROI
Interpret customer satisfaction metrics and develop strategies to improve them
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to advocate for feature enhancements, APAC-specific requirements, and UX improvements
Collaborate with Solution Architects to resolve complex data-mapping and methodology questions
Review customer accounts post-implementation and collaborate across internal teams to address platform needs and technical troubleshooting
Scale emerging solutions and refine operating methods to improve customer satisfaction
Align with global teams to ensure best-in-class product success processes
Enable Customer Success teams to deliver meaningful value to customers
Educate customers and internal teams on the benefits of new product releases
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of experience in Customer Success, Product Advisory, or Implementation Management within B2B SaaS, including 4+ years focused on ESG, carbon accounting, or environmental sustainability software
Deep familiarity with carbon accounting standards, specifically GHG Protocol (Scope 1, 2, and 3) and regulatory frameworks like CSRD, CDP, GRI, or ISSB
Exceptional client-facing communication skills with corporate sustainability officers, auditors, and technical leads
Proven ability to simplify complex regulatory concepts into intuitive user workflows
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Carbon Accounting, ISO 14064, or GHG Protocol standards
Experience with enterprise integrations such as SAP, Salesforce ESG Cloud, NetSuite, or energy management systems
Experience in management consulting or ESG auditing
Knowledge of connected data solutions and the Workiva platform
Proven track record with product enablement and measurable customer success
Strong data-driven analytical skills with a focus on driving customer value realization
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience facilitating sessions and hosting webinars
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, changing environments
Self-motivated, action-oriented mindset with strong execution skills
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Ability to interact with business partners at all levels of an organization
