Calibration Technician II

Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Calibration Technician II. The hours for this role are 7am-3:30pm The hourly rate for this position is 24-28.50 per hour. Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. ## What you’ll do: JOB SUMMARY: Eaton’s Mission Systems Division is currently seeking a Calibration Tech II. This position is based at our Orchard Park, NY facility and is responsible for support the entire organization by calibrating and maintaining a multitude of inspection, measuring, and test equipment located the manufacturing facilities. The multitude of inspection, measuring, and test equipment include, but are not limited to, those used to measure pressure, flow, torque, temperature, time, weight and dimensions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Comply with work policies and safety issues related to programs or equipment usage. • Calibrate (and perform routine maintenance on) inspection, measuring, and test equipment to verify accuracy and performance acceptability using documented calibration procedures, manufacturer’s technical manuals and drawings/prints. • Assist with cross training of calibration technicians. • Maintain calibration standards including revising and writing new calibration procedures. • Meet customer expectations by completing calibrations by the documented due date. • Prepare calibration reports. • Identify out-of-tolerance conditions. • Approve and monitor calibration extensions. • Maintain records of calibration and update calibration database. • Review calibration certificates to verify that calibration requirements were met. • Keep calibration lab in a clean and orderly condition. • Actively participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities. ## Qualifications: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • High School diploma or equivalent • Three (3) years of experience performing calibrations in a manufacturing environment • Attention to detail, and the discipline to follow through on assigned tasks • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Associate Degree in a technical discipline • Eight (8) year minimum experience calibrating inspection, measuring and test equipment such as flow, pressure, mechanical or electrical devices, as well as, high pressure pneumatics.
