The Consumer Electronics Display Division provides best-in-class commercial and consumer display technology ranging from best-in-class gaming monitors to large scale LED installations that elevates the conventional viewing experience.
As a senior designer, you will play a key role in creating visually compelling content to showcase the capabilities of our display technologies. This role requires daily collaboration with cross-functional teams to design engaging graphics and visual assets that demonstrate the superior performance and features of Samsung displays. Our ideal candidate has experience creating and editing various video types, designing static banner advertisements, copyediting marketing messaging and managing other graphic designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design high-quality graphics for marketing materials, including website banners, product brochures, product guides, social media campaigns, and events.
- Create and edit various types of video files.
- Design PowerPoint presentations
- Copywriting or copyediting experience a plus.
- Collaborate with marketing team and product managers to understand product features and specifications and translate them into visually appealing content.
- Develop visual concepts and storyboard ideas for product demonstrations, presentations, and trade shows.
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to design guidelines across all marketing collateral, share updated brand guidelines to marketing team members and submit approvals to global brand review.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative design elements into our visual content.
- Work closely with external agencies and vendors to manage projects and ensure timely delivery of assets.
- Project manage and provide creative direction and feedback to team of designers.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Experience working for a technology or fast paced company
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as a graphic designer, preferably in the business, technology or consumer electronics industry.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design solutions across various mediums.
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and composition principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas and concepts to stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is preferred. Korean is a plus.
