What You Can Expect

Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance environments using Jenkins (Groovy scripting), Ansible, JCasC, containerized platforms, and tools like Kubernetes, ELK, Docker, and Artifactory. Lead the development and integration of RMK (Marvell Remote Build automation system) that enables developers to run build script on powerful remote machine working from their local development environment. Guide the software release process, integrating SAST tools like Klocwork, conducting static code analysis and security testing, ensuring license compliance, and generating SBOMs. Design and develop software and patches for key software and firmware components, contributing to the evolution of Marvell’s product portfolio. Lead the integration of new features and components into the existing infrastructure, including SSD firmware-specific toolchains, shared libraries, and custom plugins. Drive the expansion of infrastructure to support increased capacity, reliability, and advanced functionalities of firmware releases, including regular maintenance and upgrades. Manage and optimize continuous integration, deployment, and testing processes for multiple software and firmware applications and customer releases. Analyze and resolve complex issues across Gerrit, build environments, and CI systems involving various software components and dependencies. Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of application infrastructure, including servers, networks, and authentication systems. Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to define and implement CI/CD strategies tailored to project and customer requirements. Develop frameworks to streamline release tasks, reduce execution time, and maintain release dashboards to publish artifacts, metrics, and performance data. Mentor and guide Build & Release engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and serving as a technical liaison for internal and cross-functional business units. Wage $180,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Experience must include four (4) years with each of the following:

•    Architecting and deploying robust, scalable CI/CD environments using Jenkins (Groovy scripting), JCasC, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, Artifactory, and the ELK stack in semiconductor industry.
•    Remote build systems for embedded firmware development and integration.
•    Python automation, including object-oriented programming C/C++, CLI tool and REST API development, robust error handling and structured data formats like JSON/YAML.
•    Integrating SAST tools and implementing static code analysis, security testing, license compliance.
•    Designing and developing software and patches for firmware components, including SSD firmware, bootloaders, device drivers, and embedded systems.
•    Leading the integration of new features and components into existing CI infrastructure, including shared libraries, custom plugins, and firmware-specific toolchains.
•    Scaling CI/CD infrastructure to support increased capacity, reliability, and advanced release functionalities, with ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
•    Overseeing and enhancing application infrastructure, including server management, network configuration, and authentication systems.
•    Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across Gerrit, build environments, and CI systems involving multi-layered software dependencies.
•    Collaborating with cross-functional development teams and mentoring Build & Release engineers.
•    Developing automation frameworks and release dashboards to streamline release tasks, reduce execution time, and publish artifacts, metrics, and performance data.
