COE Manager of Aid and Relief

As an new COE Manager of Aid and Relief, you will be leading a team of 5 experienced colleagues in the Aid & relief operations in Denmark & The Netherlands, where we strive to deliver the best service for our customers. The position is requiring an entrepreneurial mindset to lead 3 operational managers in growth and a business excellence team of 4.

The position requires solid leadership skills to continue building on the team’s success. Together with your team you will play a key role in executing tailor-made logistics solutions and coordination of various projects for our customers as well as being part of our accelerated growth within the aid vertical.

Together with the sales team you will play a key role in designing tailor-made logistics solutions and coordination of various projects for our customers as well as being part of our accelerated growth within our segment.

Your main responsibilities will be:


Manage the existing team within the Denmark & NL + expansion into targeted countries in Europe.

  • Drive the strategical development projects through the operations manager’s in alignment with our European strategy.
  • Engagement & contribution to the European operational leadership team as well as operations teams in Africa

Required experience & skills:

 

  • Proven Leadership skills
  • Capability to lead based on KPI driven teams
  • Entrepreneurial knowledge of building new teams cross countries
  • Experience from Aid & Relief is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written fluency in English (French is an advantage) 
  • A collaborative mindset with a “can do” attitude
  • Eagerness to be best in class and part of a winning team
  • Ability to be flexible when needed as our job is not always 8-16
  • Ability to travel approx. 15-25 days a year
  • Manage the existing team leaders within the Denmark & NL + expansion into targeted countries in Europe.
  • Ensure operational excellence during a transition of operating system for a +150 million USD revenue business.
  • Drive the strategical development projects through the operations manager’s in alignment with our European strategy.
  • Engagement & contribution to the European operational leadership team.
