What You Will Do

  • Lead and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with airworthiness regulations and liaising with aviation authorities, customers, and external organizations.
  • Review and update regulatory requirements, company policies, quality procedures, capabilities, and process metrics to drive continuous quality improvement.
  • Conduct system, product, and process audits, investigate supplier quality issues, assess suppliers and subcontractors, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Deliver quality-related training, monitor quality system performance, and provide regular reports and recommendations to management.
  • Lead and develop the QA team by providing guidance, training, and oversight to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Degree in a relevant discipline, or Diploma with at least 5 years of Quality Assurance experience or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, preferably within the aviation or aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of airworthiness regulations (e.g. FAR 145, SAR 145, EASA 145, CCAR 145) and Quality Management Systems.
  • ISO 9001/AS9100/AS9110 Internal or Lead Auditor certification.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Relevant quality certifications such as Six Sigma or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
  • Experience conducting supplier quality management, subcontractor assessments, and regulatory audits.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and quality performance metrics.
  • High computer literacy and experience using quality management systems.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive process improvements, and deliver quality training programs.
