Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical aspects and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that solutions are effectively implemented and aligned with project goals. The engineer actively manages the workflow, addresses challenges as they arise, and ensures that the applications meet the required standards and functionality throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing and validation.
- Document technical designs and processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture, Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM).
- Strong understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns related to Oracle CC&B.
- Experience in configuring and customizing Oracle CC&B applications to meet business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within Oracle CC&B environments.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools used in Oracle Utilities applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture.
- This position is based at our PDC2C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
