Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Occupational Therapist, you will provide essential in-home occupational therapy services under physician's orders. Your role involves evaluating home safety, assessing functional needs, and implementing tailored treatment to promote independence.

 

Every day you will evaluate home safety, assess functional needs of physically disabled patients, then develop, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment procedures.

 

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong assessment, treatment planning, and implementation skills for in-home care. Excellent communication for patient education and a commitment to promoting independence and safety are essential.

  • Meets the discipline-specific productivity standard.
  • Demonstrates competence in care of patients during field observation by the clinical supervisor.
  • Completes and submits documentation following established guidelines as measured by a designated evaluation tool.
  • Physician orders are present and written correctly.
  • Documents follow up of identified problems.
  • Reviews and documents clinical progress toward goals.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Completed an accredited Occupational Therapy degree program and be board eligible and able to obtain CA OT license within 6 months or have already obtained a CA OT License.
  • Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist student/ intern. 
  • Occupational Therapist: CA (OT:CA) within 6 - months 
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) upon hire 
  • Driver's License: CA (AUTO:CA)  upon hire 
  • Auto Insurance (AUTO-INS) upon hire
