Here, you will make an impact by:Providing ongoing training and direction to operations and business unit personnel regarding harmonized tariff schedule (HTS) and other government agency reporting requirementsHolding ownership of tariff classification rules and maintenance of existing data to ensure data accuracyActively monitoring tariff classification changes for your designated region(s), updating internal databases and communicating this to external brokersDemonstrating effective communication skills and strong analytical ability to anticipate and resolve issues while enabling improved decision makingDemonstrating knowledge of regulatory requirement and utilizing depth and breadth of experience to establish trade policies and procedures aligned with regulatory changes, risk and impactMonitoring and seeking to influence applicable country trade regulatory activity and serve as a liaison at both national and local agency levelsDriving improved regulatory compliance and business effectiveness through process optimizationYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 5 (five) years of professional experience in harmonized tariff schedule (HTS) Classification.ORHighschool/ GED AND US Customs broker license AND 9 (nine) years of professional experience in harmonized tariff schedule (HTS) Classification.
