As Senior Director, Category Leadership – Long-Range Partnership & Digital Shopper Insights, you will serve as a strategic partner within our North America Category team. Reporting to the Senior Director II of Convenience Retail and Shopper Insights, you will lead initiatives that advance shopper understanding across omnichannel landscapes while enabling future-focused planning and customer collaboration. This position offers the chance to influence how Coca‑Cola builds enduring partnerships with retail customers by translating digital behaviors and marketplace disruptions into strategic frameworks that drive growth today and position us for sustained success.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Lead development of advanced digital shopper insights to strengthen strategic customer initiatives and accelerate enterprise learning.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Category Leadership, Sales, Commercial Strategy, and Human Insights to embed omnichannel shopper understanding into customer strategies.
  • Integrate insights on evolving digital fulfillment models and behavioral trends into actionable growth opportunities for Coca‑Cola and retail partners.
  • Build and steward a centralized repository of customer and shopper insights that enhances strategic decision-making agility for the organization.
  • Support priority customers in multi-year planning by connecting long-term marketplace trends, category evolution, and shopper behaviors to shared growth objectives.
  • Develop executive-ready storytelling and frameworks that translate complex insight into clear strategic recommendations tailored for key customer partnerships.
  • Lead strategic capability-building initiatives that standardize approaches for insight generation, ensuring methodologies are repeatable and aligned to business outcomes.
  • Champion the use of modern research techniques, AI-enabled analytics, and emerging visualization tools to accelerate insight generation and prediction accuracy.
  • Shape thought leadership in digital commerce and long-range planning, influencing multiple internal and external stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Manage vendor partnerships and streamline delivery of research programs, ensuring alignment to best practices and organizational priorities across the Customer Shopper Insights Center of Excellence.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in customer insights, shopper insights, category leadership, digital commerce, commercial strategy, or consumer research within retail or CPG environments.
  • Advanced analytical capability with expertise in translating diverse data sources into actionable insights for complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Deep understanding of digital shopper behavior, omnichannel retail models, and emerging commerce trends.
  • Proven skill in executive communication and strategic storytelling that simplifies complex analytics for high-level decision-making.
  • Experience developing future-focused business perspectives and thought leadership aligned to long-range planning goals.
  • Strong technical proficiency with analytics tools, visualization platforms, and AI-enabled solutions (including MS Office, Power BI, Fabric).
  • Familiarity with syndicated data providers such as Nielsen, Circana, Numerator, and 84.51.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence outcomes, and build strategic partnerships at senior levels.
  • Solid knowledge of research design, vendor management, and modern insight generation methodologies.
  • Exceptional planning and prioritization skills to balance near-term deliverables with multi-year strategic objectives.

Pay Range:

United States of America: 193,000 USD - 224,000 USD

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
