About the Role
Veeam's Global Events team turns tentpole moments like WEF/Davos and RSAC into some of the company's most powerful strategic assets, and as Senior Manager, Third-Party Events, you'll manage that portfolio end to end. You'll carry significant program budgets, partner directly with C-suite stakeholders, and shape how thousands of people experience Veeam's brand at the shows. This is the most senior individual contributor role on the Global Events team, reporting to the Director of Global Events, and it's built for someone who wants to do work they'll still be talking about in ten years.
What You’ll Do
Own the strategy and execution of Veeam's third-party events, including tentpole programs like WEF/Davos and RSAC
Design experiences that drive real behavior change, not just brand visibility, at every event you touch
Manage significant program budgets, including vendor contracts, SOWs, and financial reconciliation
Partner with marketing and sales leadership to drive executive attendance from priority accounts
Lead cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Sales, Field Marketing, and Alliances
Direct agency partners, vendors, and on-site staff to a consistent standard of execution
Use and champion AI tools to plan, brief, and execute events faster and more effectively
What You’ll Bring
7+ years in event marketing, experiential marketing, or a related field; B2B tech strongly preferred
Proven ownership of high-profile, tier-one third-party tradeshow programs with significant budget responsibility ($1M+)
A track record of designing executive engagement programs that feel premium and purposeful
You run several high-stakes events at the same time and none of them suffer for it. You lead people you don’t manage, and they follow because you’ve earned it. You stay decisive when things are unclear because you’ve learned to create clarity rather than wait for it.
Experience negotiating contracts and managing SOWs, budgets, and reconciliation
Working knowledge of event platforms such as Salesforce or Cvent
Active, current use of AI tools in day-to-day event planning and execution
Ability to travel 40–60% domestically and internationally
Bonus Skills
Deep experience with Claude Chat & Cowork, Microsoft Copilot for Enterprise, or ChatGPT Enterprise
Familiarity with Coupa or similar procurement/finance tools
Background working directly with C-suite stakeholders on high-visibility programs
Interest in emerging experiential and event technology formats
