With Northrop Grumman, you’ll have the opportunity to be an essential part of projects that will define your career, now and in the future.The Electronics Technician Maintenance III applies advanced technical knowledge and practices to solve complex problems that cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Skills required include reading schematics and engineering drawing, soldering, root cause failure analysis, troubleshooting electronic failures, performing systems testing and alignments, evaluating and incorporating engineering changes.Work typically requires an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment.Candidates will be required to interface with engineering, quality, program management and customers.  As a senior technician, training and technical guidance to lower-level technicians will be performed.  Good interpersonal skills are required.Basic Qualifications:•    An Electronics Associate Degree or Military Training Equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of related experience; 7 years of related experience will be considered in lieu of Degree or Military Training•    Strong knowledge of systems troubleshooting.•    Ability to perform circuit analysis to a failed component.•    Ability to read schematics and engineering drawing.•    Solder repair experience.•    Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
