Job Description
As a Security Officer Hospital Restraint Assistance in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, patient- or visitor-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, policy violations, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control, visitor direction, and maintaining a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Must have at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or at least three years of security-related experience.
- Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to restrain individuals.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
