Senior Account Executive

MunichFullTimePosted Aug 7, 2026

About the Role

A fast-growing, Series A/B-stage AI and procurement intelligence company is looking for a (Senior) Account Executive to join their Munich office. This is a high-impact, full-cycle sales role focused on manufacturing and industrial companies in Germany — helping Heads of Procurement and C-level stakeholders turn procurement from a cost center into a genuine strategic advantage.

You'll be embedded in a strong on-site sales team with dedicated prospecting support, selling a technically sophisticated platform that delivers measurable ROI through AI-driven cost savings and supply chain efficiency. The company is backed by top-tier European and global venture investors and is growing rapidly across the DACH region.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full B2B sales cycle — from first meeting and product demo through negotiation and signed contract.

  • Qualify and close new customers across manufacturing and industrial verticals.

  • Collaborate closely with a prospecting team to maintain a healthy, conversion-ready pipeline.

  • Build tailored business cases that clearly articulate product value and ROI for each customer.

  • Develop customer-specific sales strategies aimed at establishing long-term partnerships.

  • Collect and relay customer feedback to directly inform product development and roadmap priorities.

  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to continuously improve the sales motion.

  • Contribute to building and training a high-performance sales organisation and its processes.

  • Identify and experiment with AI-assisted workflows to accelerate personal and team sales effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

  • At least 1–2 years of closing experience in B2B software sales within an industrial or technical environment; senior candidates typically bring 5+ years.

  • Fluent written and spoken German — excellent German communication skills are essential.

  • Proven experience managing an end-to-end sales process, including demos, negotiations, and contract closure.

  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and tracking key sales metrics.

  • Strong consultative and advisory selling skills with a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to use data to build compelling business cases and articulate customer value.

  • Willingness and enthusiasm to work on-site in Munich and engage with customers in person.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Familiarity with procurement, purchasing, or supply chain domains.

  • Experience collaborating with an outbound/prospecting team on lead generation.

  • Background in or exposure to enterprise software sold into manufacturing or engineering-heavy organisations.

Location

This is a fully on-site role based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Regular in-person collaboration with colleagues and customers is a core part of this position. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation details are available upon application and will be discussed during the interview process. The company offers a competitive package commensurate with experience, including variable/commission components tied to sales performance, and the opportunity to grow within a well-funded, rapidly scaling organisation.
