Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in business program management, project management, educational technology, or technology adoption initiatives.
  • Experience managing end-to-end program roadmaps, leading cross-functional teams, and communicating with executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Background in education, instructional design, or change management within the Spanish education sector or public sector.
  • Deep understanding of Google for Education solutions (Gemini, ChromeOS and Google Workspace for Education) and educational technology trends in the region.
  • Track record of defining program metrics/OKRs, tracking active product adoption, and leveraging analytics to drive program success.
  • Demonstrated authority in business program management methodologies, process optimization, and risk management across complex, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, strategic communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

As a Digital Transformation Program Manager for Spain, you will drive project outcomes and program execution as a key leader within Google for Education in the region. You will bring pedagogical expertise and advanced program management excellence to own designated areas of digital transformation, setting program direction, priorities, and methodologies across assigned accounts and regional initiatives in Spain. You will generate innovative ideas to solve complex, ambiguous problems and take full ownership of program solutions while balancing immediate project constraints against long-term organizational goals.

In this role, you will balance strategic account transformation (e.g., named account list) with scaled adoption across the Spanish market. You will establish end-to-end program plans, define product adoption roadmaps, track key metrics, and streamline cross-functional processes with Sales, Marketing, and Professional Development (PD) partners. Acting as a trusted program authority, you will build executive alignment, manage program risks, and foster thriving educator communities to accelerate technology adoption in education.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Spain: €84000 - €86000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Drive digital transformation roadmaps for strategic accounts across Spain, aligning with overarching Education goals.
  • Develop customized program methodologies and lead cross-functional partnerships to streamline workflows and eliminate execution friction.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to institutional and government leaders to address deployment blockers, manage resources, and mitigate program risks.
  • Manage scaled adoption programs, local networks, and lighthouse initiatives to drive technology awareness and usage at scale.
  • Track key program Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and synthesize customer insights to continuously improve programs and inform product roadmaps.
