As a Pricing Technology Functional Consultant-Senior Associate, you will specialize in providing consulting services focused on pricing strategies and profitability analysis. You will analyze pricing models, assess customer profitability, and offer guidance to help clients optimize pricing strategies, improve profitability, and maximize customer value. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain professional standards. You will focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, while navigating increasingly complex situations to grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Customer Consulting team within our Technology Consulting practice. You will engage with clients to transform how they engage, sell to, and serve their customers through strategy, operations, and technology. Your work will involve modernizing sales, marketing, and customer service functions to drive revenue growth and sustain performance. By combining strategy, operations, and technology, you will help clients activate and scale in the market, creating connected customer experiences and driving profitable growth.

Pricefx configuration & development (Groovy)
• Configure and extend Pricefx using Groovy scripting to implement pricing logic, 
workflows, data transformations, validations, and UI behaviors.
• Build and maintain pricing procedures: discount guardrails, approval workflows, 
price list logic, segmentation models, and agreement constructs aligned to 
business requirements.
• Develop reusable configuration components and accelerators following engineering 
standards to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
AI-enabled pricing & analytics build
• Partner with functional and analytics teams to embed AI-assisted pricing use cases 
such as:
o Intelligent deal guidance / next-best discount recommendations within 
governance guardrails
o Anomaly detection on price changes, margin leakage, and discount outliers
o Customer/product segmentation and elasticity signals
o Alerts for pricing compliance, approvals, and policy exceptions
• Support build of pricing analytics including.

KPI definitions (realized price, win-rate vs discount, margin waterfall, price 
variance, rebate effectiveness)
o Data preparation and validation
o Insight outputs and dashboard enablement
• Collaborate with data and integration teams to ensure analytic datasets are 
accurate, reconciled, and auditable (hierarchies, time-series integrity, governance 
controls).
Delivery execution
• Participate in discovery sessions and requirement refinement workshops.
• Translate functional requirements into working Pricefx configurations and analytics 
outputs.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Pricefx delivery assets (Groovy scripts, 
configuration artifacts, deployment automation) to enable repeatable, auditable 
releases across environments (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod).
• Execute unit testing; support SIT/UAT cycles; manage defect triage and resolution.
• Support deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Troubleshoot configuration, Groovy logic, and production data issues.
Data & integration collaboration
• Work with integration/data teams on inbound/outbound interfaces (ERP, CRM, CPQ, 
master data systems).
• Ensure correct mapping, validations, and error handling for pricing master data, 
agreements, and rebate datasets.
• Support reconciliation of price lists, customer hierarchies, product structures, and 
commercial conditions.
Documentation & quality
• Produce technical documentation including configuration designs, Groovy logic 
documentation, test cases, deployment guides, and runbooks.
• Participate in code/configuration reviews and follow secure engineering practices.
• Ensure adherence to delivery standards and quality controls.

Independently deliver medium-complexity Pricefx configurations and Groovy logic 
with limited supervision.
• Implement KPI logic and validate analytics outputs for accuracy and business 
alignment.
• Identify edge cases and propose configuration alternatives/tradeoffs.
• Provide effort estimates for assigned user stories or workstreams.
• Mentor Associates/Analysts on configuration best practices.

• Hands-on Pricefx implementation experience with configuration ownership.
• Strong proficiency in Groovy scripting (or equivalent scripting background with 
demonstrated Groovy delivery).
• Solid understanding of pricing concepts: price lists, discounts, approvals, 
segmentation, customer/product hierarchies, rebate structures, governance 
controls.
• Proficiency with Git-based version control and practical CI/CD execution (pipelineas-code, automated validation, and controlled environment promotion).
• Experience working in cross-functional delivery teams (functional, data/integration, 
QA, release management).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering / Computer Science / IT or related field preferred).
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable configuration and analytics outputs; 
strong troubleshooting skills.
 Experience building pricing analytics (margin leakage analysis, deal performance, 
price realization, rebate effectiveness).
• Exposure to AI/ML use cases in pricing or commercial analytics (segmentation, 
forecasting signals, anomaly detection, elasticity concepts).
• Familiarity with integration patterns (REST APIs, ETL/ELT, validation/error handling).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments; tools such as Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to ERP/CRM/CPQ ecosystems and enterprise master data management.
• Pricefx certification preferred.
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience; tools like Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab 
CI/CD, or Jenkins; familiarity with artifact repositories and release governance.
• Exposure to ERP/CRM/CPQ ecosystems and enterprise master data management.
