About the Opportunity

Pragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a global technology company building industry-leading software for the investment research sector. Their platform powers the creation, distribution, and analysis of financial research while helping some of the world's leading financial institutions streamline knowledge management and digital communications.

As the company continues expanding across the APAC region, they are looking for an HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle across multiple countries. This is a broad, hands-on HR role where you'll partner with managers and employees, ensure compliant HR operations across different jurisdictions, and help create an engaging employee experience within a globally distributed team.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary HR partner for employees and managers across the APAC region

  • Support the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding

  • Ensure HR processes remain compliant with local labor laws and employment regulations across multiple APAC jurisdictions

  • Manage employee records within the HRIS, maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, and collaboration with hiring managers

  • Assist with performance review cycles by preparing materials, tracking timelines, and supporting managers throughout the process

  • Respond to employee questions regarding contracts, benefits, leave policies, and HR procedures

  • Partner with payroll providers and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration

  • Monitor and report on key HR metrics such as headcount, attrition, and hiring performance

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and regional team events

  • Help maintain and update HR policies to align with both company standards and local legal requirements

  • Collaborate with external vendors, recruitment partners, benefits providers, and legal advisors when needed

  • Work closely with the global HR team to implement company-wide initiatives across the APAC region

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of core HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations

  • Knowledge of employment legislation in at least one APAC country (such as the Philippines, India, Japan, Australia, or New Zealand)

  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel for reporting and HR analytics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

  • Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams across multiple time zones

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently

  • Fluency in an additional APAC language
