Industrial Maintenance Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician Helper to support the maintenance team in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their mechanical skills while assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with maintenance and repair of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Support maintenance on diesel-powered forklifts and material handling equipment
- Help perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and minimizing downtime
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel equipment
- Previous experience in maintenance, mechanical work, or industrial environments preferred
- Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on role
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
