As an Oracle Finance – GL, AP, CM, Expenses - Senior Associate - Consult, you will specialize in using and managing the Oracle Financials software, an integrated financial management system that provides tools for managing financial processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward isn’t clear.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining the Oracle Finance system, helping clients optimize operational efficiency. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications. This position offers the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Configuring and implementing Oracle Financials to optimize financial processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, and cash management
- Analyzing client needs to develop tailored software solutions that enhance operational efficiency
- Providing training and support to clients for seamless integration and utilization of Oracle Finance systems
- Collaborating with clients to identify opportunities for finance process improvements and transformation
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to inform strategic recommendations
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory authority requirements and financial reporting standards
- Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex financial concepts and provide actionable insights
- Developing and maintaining meaningful client relationships to support ongoing business application consulting services
- Guiding and mentoring junior team members in the application of Oracle Financials and related methodologies
- Adapting to changing business contexts and embracing ambiguity to deliver quality client solutions
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Finance, Economics, Business Administration/Management, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: Oracle Cloud certification in Financials or related Oracle ERP Finance Cloud modules
- Demonstrating proficiency in Oracle Financials and Oracle General Ledger
- Utilizing analytical thinking to enhance finance transformation initiatives
- Navigating complex financial systems and processes with ease
- Developing insights through monitoring and analyzing financial trends
